Sue Your Creditors

Suing your creditors and collection agencies is not a hard thing to do if you have a base for your argument. I know what most people think, and that is "I owe them money, so how can I sue". The creditors are governed by the fair credit reporting act (FCRA), and the collection agencies are governed by the fair debt collection practices act (FDCPA). These acts were put in place to make these creditors and collection agencies accountable. What can one sue for you ask. Well here is a list of things you can sue for. Remember, it doesn't matter that you owe them money, they still have to follow the rules to collect it.

1. Creditors if they report your credit history inaccurately - Most of the time, they will try and correct this problem if you dispute it. They know they are not supposed to do that, but if you make a partial payment and they don't report it, then they are in violation.

2. Creditors, if you dispute a debt, and they fail to report it as disputed to the credit bureaus- Some creditors will neglect to do this and you can make them pay for it.

3 Creditors if they pull your credit file without permissible purpose - Making inquiries on your credit report without your permission is not allowed.

4. Calls you at your place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that your employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication. - They can't cause you to lose your job because you owe them a debt. You do have to tell them that your boss doesn't allow personal calls. They can call your job until you instruct them otherwise.

5. The collection agency can not use any kind of harassment or abuse - I have had collection agencies say things like I'm stupid, they call hours they are not supposed to, cursing, etc.

There are many more things you could sue for. You just need to be very organized and keep records of everything you do, every phone call you take, who you spoke to, etc.

Seasoned Tradelines

Credit repair is something that is very easy to do if you have some basic knowledge on what to do. If you have or had bad credit, you know that the letter writing game is very important. Keeping very good records is also part of the process, because if you get real good at fighting with your creditors and collection agencies, they will actually be paying you because they keep horrible records and they often cross the line when trying to collect a debt. This often leaves them open to lawsuits. If they get enough of these they will stop harassing people. This sounds good, but they are sales people just like anyone else. So you've gotten all the negative items off your credit report and think to yourself "why isn’t my credit as good as it can be?". Well, now you have only completed part of the equation. You need to have no negative information on your credit reports, and then you need open accounts in good standing.

Seasoned trade lines are credit cards, etc that list you as an authorized user on the account. Parents often do this for their children. It works like this, you add someone as an authorized user on your credit account. They don’t actually need to receive a card to access your account. As soon as the account is listed, the good payment history goes back to however long the account was open. Be very cautious because this is a legal loophole to boosting your credit score in a short period of time and I heard that one credit bureau is adopting plans to stop lending weight to the authorized user or seasoned trade line method. The others are following suit in 2008. So if I were someone looking for an advanced way to boost your credit score, I would definitely get some seasoned trade lines.

How To Improve Credit Score Fast

Most consumers usually ask me the same question "How to improve credit score fast". Before I can answer that question, it is important to know how much you want to raise your credit score.

The reason is because for someone who has a credit score of 540 and want to increase it to 600 is different from another person who wants to increase his/her credit score from 650 to 725. In both cases, they require a different approach.

One of the most overlooked strategies to improving your credit score fast is your debt to credit ratio. Basically, it is the ratio of debt to your total available credit. For example if you have $10,000 in revolving credit and your current debt is $2500, then the debt to ratio is 25%.

Since many lenders make money from interest, your ability to maintain balances and pay over time is one of the most important factors in your credit score.

One technique that can improve your credit score fast is sub-prime merchandise cards. A sub-prime merchandise card is just a card attached to a line of credit that allows you to buy products and services from a specific vendor.

I highly recommend you get credit secrets bible by terry price where he goes more in depth on how sub-prime merchandise cards can really shoot up your credit score.

There are other credit secrets he will revealed and it is quite eye opening. It's something I have never heard from others or online before. So go check out credit secrets bible if you want to know how to improve credit score fast.

Fix Bad Credit Fast

Are you harassed by your creditors and debt collectors calling you everyday? Have you ever experienced a job you were going for tell you that they can't hire you because you have credit problems? Have you been served with court papers threatening to sue? Do you want to fix bad credit fast?

If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then listen up. I have been in your situation and know how horrible it can feel to be denied the American dreams. Not being able to buy a house, a car, or any big ticket item can be very disappointing. The problem is that many people try to find a solution that will fix credit fast. But is it really that fast? You may have gotten into the problem a lot faster than you can get out. Credit repair agencies are out there but who knows if you can trust most of them. So the job of fixing your credit may prove to be very difficult.

There is no quick solution to excellent credit. Sorry that is just the truth. Even if you clean up your credit with the credit bureaus, you need to tap into the root of the problem. You need to sit down and lay it all on the line and assess when your credit started going wrong and why. Here are three items I feel are important in clearing up your credit.

1. Set Up A Budget How many times were you told this important factor to having good credit. Many people say they have one, but do they really. And the people that do have a budget don't follow it and adjust it as things change. There are many programs out like Microsoft Money that will help you set up a budget.

2. Monitor Your Credit This is very important because the credit bureaus can make mistakes and items on your credit report could not be yours, but if a potential creditor (computer) sees your credit, it will assume everything on the report is correct. I have the same name as my father and my credit report contained information that I had past due child support in 1982. I was born in 1980 that is definitely not my item.

3. Clean It Up!!! Contact all of the credit bureaus and ask for a copy of your credit report. List all the items that are the oldest and dispute those. Review the results and dispute a few more, no more than three at a time because more gives off a red flag to the credit bureaus.

And always be careful of anyone telling you that you can get a bad credit mortgage, because those are usually very expensive in general. Clean your credit up once and for all.
